Flow Yoga
Tuesday Mornings 10.00-11.30 am - Next course
starts 7th September - £65.00 for seven weeks In this flowing and energising class
students learn to focus on both the physical and psychological reactions
that arise in various postures, tuning into awareness of mind, body,
emotion and spirit. Maddeleine teaches in the style of Sri Krishnamacharya,
sessions may include some pranayama, but the main emphasis will
be on coordinating breath and movement so that the yoga practice
becomes a meditation in motion. This class is suitable for anyone
who has previously practiced yoga or for beginners with a reasonable
level of fitness.
Hatha Yoga
Thursday Mornings 10.00-11.30 am - Next course
starts 9th September - £65.00 for seven weeks During this Hatha class we will
work with gentle vinyasa, learning how to move with fluidity and
ease whilst keeping the mind focused on the rhythmic flow of the
breath. We will also work with static postures, helping you find
a balance of strength and release within the body, learning that
the journey into and out of a posture is as important as the posture
itself.
This is a fun and informative class and suitable for beginners or
anyone who wants to understand how to release tension within the
body.

Hot
Vinyasa Flow is a flowing sequence of postures designed for conditioning,
toning, and focus, practiced in the heat. This class emphasizes
the connection of movement with the breath.
Sun
salutations are practiced between each sequence of postures throughout
the entire standing series.
Be prepared to sweat, tone your entire body and cleanse your soul.
This class will transform you on all levels, physically, mentally
and spiritually.
Not suitable for absolute beginners.
The
Yoga Journey Class
Wednesdays

The Yoga Journey In this
weekly class you will journey through various styles of yoga stemming
from different teaching traditions with a wealth of inspiring
teachers. If you like variety in your yoga practise you will love
this class! Yoga is about change and approaching life with an
open mind so that we don't become stuck in our ways. These classes
will be suitable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness
or for those who have previously practised yoga - just bring your
open heart and willingness to try something different each week.
Children's
Yoga
Mondays 4.30 - 5.30 pm
A
fun and dynamic yoga class, specifically designed for children
to help them develop physical and emotional skills for life. Through
challenging and entertaining exercises, the course will develop
physical strength, flexibility and self-awareness whilst building
emotional confidence, inner-strength and self-esteem.
The course is ideal for boys and girls aged 8 to 16 years of age.

to Babies Tuesdays 12.00 - 1.30pm -

Pre and Post natal yoga with Madeleine Scott
This special class provides a gentle, safe
and supportive setting for you to enjoy yoga during your pregnancy
and also a place to come back to with your baby, when you are
ready, soon after the birth.
Postures and breathing are adopted to support each stage of pregnancy.
The classes will create a space for you to connect with your baby,
give time to honour yourself through the practise of yoga, help
you prepare for the birth, and share stories with other new mothers
and mums to be.
This is a time when you are facing many challenges, but by practising
yoga you can learn techniques and develop a flexible mindset so
that you may fully enjoy the journey into motherhood and beyond.
Restorative
Yin Yoga Monthly
- First Thursday
of each month from 6.30 - 8.30pm
£15 per class (or £12 if paid in advance).
Yin Yoga induces deep body relaxation with
emphasises on stillness, release and awareness. Yin Yoga is a
slow paced deep Yoga practice and an extremely valuable method
for increasing mobility and flexibility. Yin Yoga uses long held
postures that stretch, stimulate and create fluidity in the deep
connective tissue, and encourages a healthy flow of prana (life
force) improving the health of our organs as well as increasing
our energy and promoting a general sense of wellbeing. Accessible
to all ages and experience of yoga. Yin yoga is a very deep practise
in itself, but also a wonderful complement to other forms of physical
activity.
Evening Satsangs at The Yoga Garden
Chants, mantra and meditation techniques
to help you center, focus and calm your mind. These are periodic
informal and non denominational evenings, led by a variety of
teachers, where students and teachers come together to share insight
and deepen their practice. All profits are donated to charity.

Pilates Tuesdays
18.30 - 19:30 £54 for 7
weeks or £10 per drop in session (subject
to availability). Pilate's
style exercises, by stretching and lengthening muscles. A wonderful
way to de-stress whilst building strength and improving flexibility,
this class focuses on unwinding at the end of a busy day, whilst
working the whole body, to increase muscle strength without building
bulk.
The entire body will feel toned and more supple. The exercises
are done slowly and gently yet incredibly effectively, improving
posture, breathing control and overall fitness.
This class lasts 60 minutes, no need to bring a mat but bring
small arm weights if you wish.
